For educators, one of the chief responsibilities is successful student outcomes. There are many ways to achieve notable milestones, or even the smaller achievements of learner progress. In whatever method that is chosen, a strategy that surpasses many others is the one-to-one factor. The teacher-student alignment can lead to extraordinary success for the student, and great satisfaction for teachers. Only through this personalized model can an educator grasp specific characteristics of their students, that would have otherwise gone unnoticed. These specific characteristics are vital is destiny realization-where teachers can play an influential role.
Welcome to the Social Emotional Learning component.
Whether you are instructing a small group, or the entire student body. SEL is real mentoring. This happens when teachers are able to sit back and document the anecdotal responses of their students that will later inform instruction frequency, and lesson planning.
This is where the opportunity lies to introduce our students to their abilities, their strengths, while out-sourcing their fears and weaknesses.

Social Emotional Learning: John 3:16
‘’ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.’’
This sounds so simple, yet not yet fully examined. God loves the world. His heart’s desire is that they might be saved, according to Romans 10:1. He did not come into the world to condemn the world, but that through His Son, the world might be saved according to John 3:17 .
- You see, God loves us. He loves His children, in whom He directly speaks to…’’I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name’s sake’’ 1 John 2:12.
- This gracious love story repeats itself through-out scripture. God is in love with humanity. He desires their attention; He desire their heart; He desires their time. He used the commodity of His dear precious Son, as a bartering system to purchase the world. This is an emotional story, of an eternal, unconditional, extraordinary love.
- This love must must be studied.

Small group. Whole class instruction. One-to-one sessions.
When you think about God loving ‘’the world’’ (including you), how does that make you feel about yourself?
- How might knowing you are deeply loved by God change the way you see yourself?
- The verse says God ‘’gave’’ His Son. When someone gives you something special, how do you usually respond?
Get a separate sheet of paper and record your answers.
- When you’re feeling sad, worried, or afraid, how could remembering this verse help you?
- If a friend was feeling depressed or unloved, how could you use the message of this verse to encourage them? What would you say to them?
- What does the word ‘’believe’’ mean to you? How do you think God wants you to apply this word, in reference to this scripture?
- How might understanding God’s sacrificial love help you to measure what you do for God, or the time you spend with Him, or even what you give up for Him?
